NexStride is a small, easy-to-use device that attaches to any walker, cane, or walking poles. It uses light and sound signals by means of a laser line and metronome to re-establish an effective connection between your brain and body. These evidence-based signals allow you to walk better, reduce risk for falls, and regain your independence.

Audible Metronome: NexStride®’s metronome emits an audible signal, engaging a different pathway in your brain to enable you to move forward.

Visual Laser Line: In addition to audible external signaling, NexStride® uses visual external signaling by way of a laser signal that shows you where to step, giving your brain a target to focus on and a new way to engage with the body (this can also help correct stride issues).

Attachable to Any Cane, Walker, or Trekking Poles: NexStride® was designed to be easily attached to almost any assistive walking device. Attach it to your cane, walker, or trekking poles.

Couldn't have gone to the Billy Joel concert without it

I went to a Billy Joel concert last week. I couldn't have done that without NexStride.

Helpful for anyone struggling with sequencing issues

It was easy to attach the device to different assistive devices, for example my patient who was in between using a walker and a cane. I could see this device being helpful for anyone who struggles with sequencing issues such as those just starting with using a cane or a walker.

Absolute miracle for freezing of gait

It is an absolute miracle how it helps with FoG. I took it to San Diego with me for Thanksgiving, showed it to all my friends, who are amazed at how it helps me! Thank you again for all your help in securing this wonderful invention for Parkinson's.

First time using it was amazing

The first time I used NexStride, it was amazing. The laser light went on and it was like a "go" signal - I just stepped over it. Your independence is back. A little bit back... but it's back!

Showed me I wasn't shifting weight to my affected side

This is an incredible device. Right off the bat it showed me that I wasn't leaning or shifting enough weight to my affected side. That was something that I learned in the beginning of rehab, switching weight from left to right. I'll get it, I know.
